Well, there was one hot young couple. The rest of the nudies were the grizzle-haired retired biker types described above. The bonus of going to an outdoor hot spring in the winter, though, is that the whole area is so steamy from the water that you can’t really see anything painful. And still I chickened out, but what can I say.

As for Barfy McBarferton, here’s the situation in all its glorious irony: I wouldn’t have traveled with her as a lap child if I had been alone, but since Jim came along, I figured we could switch off holding her and save a little cash. Furthermore, in all but one leg, the check-in people were able to move us to a row with an extra open seat â€” on which she napped peacefully until just prior to the barforama – I’d only just picked her up to cuddle her and ask her how her nap was and give her some apple juice when the catastrophe took place.

So how many clothing optional people who declined the option were easy on the eyes? I hold, like David Sedaris, that the people who opt not to don the cloth are usually the ones you wish would. But what do I know, I’m sheltered.

Barf on a plane!! I don’t want any %$$#@! barf on a plane! Poor kiddo and poor you. I am also amazed that you opted for the whole “sit in your lap” option. I don’t care how poor I am, I am not having squirmy mc32pounder sit on my lap for a hour long flight, let alone cross country.

At least you got a workout in!
